रूप बिसेष नाम बिनु जानें। करतल गत न परहिं पहिचानें॥ सुमिरिअ नाम रूप बिनु देखें। आवत हृदयँ सनेह बिसेषें॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rūpa biseṣa nāma binu jāneṃ। karatala gata na parahim pahicāneṃ॥ sumiria nāma rūpa binu dekheṃ। āvata hṛdayaṃ saneha biseṣeṃ॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

A particular form cannot be recognized even when held in the palm of the hand if its name is unknown; and if the name is remembered without seeing the form, then that form comes into the heart with special love.
