को बड़ छोट कहत अपराधू। सुनि गुन भेदु समुझिहहिं साधू॥ देखिअहिं रूप नाम आधीना। रूप ग्यान नहिं नाम बिहीना॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ko baṛa choṭa kahata aparādhū। suni guna bhedu samujhihahiṃ sādhū॥ dekhiahim rūpa nāma ādhīnā। rūpa gyāna nahiṃ nāma bihīnā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
To say which of these—name or form—is greater or lesser is an offense. Hearing of their qualities and distinctions, the wise will understand on their own. Form is seen as dependent on name; without name, form cannot truly be known.
