पुर रम्यता राम जब देखी। हरषे अनुज समेत बिसेषी॥ बापीं कूप सरित सर नाना। सलिल सुधासम मनि सोपाना॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

pura ramyatā rāma jaba dekhī। harṣe anuja sameta viseṣī॥ bāpīṃ kūpa sarita sara nānā। salila sudhāsama mani sopānā॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

When Rama saw the beauty of the city, He became greatly delighted together with His younger brother Lakshmana. There were many ponds, wells, rivers, and lakes there, with water like nectar and steps made of jewels.
