पुनि परिहरे सुखानेउ परना। उमहि नामु तब भयउ अपरना॥ देखि उमहि तप खीन सरीरा। ब्रह्मगिरा भै गगन गभीरा॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
puni parihare sukhāneu parnā। umahi nāmu taba bhayau aparnā॥ dekhi umahi tapa khīna sarīrā। brahmagirā bhai gagana gabhīrā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Then she gave up even the dried leaves; thus Parvati came to be called Aparna. Seeing Uma's body wasted by austerity, a deep voice of Brahma sounded from the sky.
