नृप सब भाँति सबहि सनमानी। कहि मृदु बचन बोलाईं रानी॥ बधू लरिकनीं पर घर आईं। राखेहु नयन पलक की नाईं॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nṛpa saba bhāṃti sabahi sanamānī। kahi mṛdu bacana bolāīṃ rānī॥ badhū larikanīṃ para ghara āīṃ। rākhehu nayana palaka kī nāīṃ॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The king honored everyone in every possible way and, speaking gently, called the queens and said, 'The daughters-in-law are still young girls, and they have come to another's home. Keep them as the eyelids keep the eyes.'
