नौमी भौम बार मधुमासा। अवधपुरीं यह चरित प्रकासा॥ जेहि दिन राम जनम श्रुति गावहिं। तीरथ सकल तहाँ चलि आवहिं॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

naumī bhauma bāra madhumāsā। avadhapurīṃ yaha carita prakāsā॥ jehi dina rāma janama śruti gāvahiṃ। tīratha sakala tahāṃ cali āvahiṃ॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

On the ninth day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra, a Tuesday, this sacred account appeared in Ayodhya. The scriptures say that on the day Rama is born, all the holy places come there.
