मुनिहि दंडवत कीन्ह महीसा। बार बार पद रज धरि सीसा॥ कौसिक राउ लिए उर लाई। कहि असीस पूछी कुसलाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
munihi daṃḍavata kīnha mahīsā। bāra bāra pada raja dhari sīsā॥ kausika rāu lie ura lāī। kahi asīsa pūchī kusalāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The earth-king Dasharatha bowed down to the sage, repeatedly placing the dust of his feet upon his head. Vishvamitra lifted the king and embraced him, giving his blessings and asking after his welfare.
