मंगल करनि कलिमलहरनि तुलसी कथा रघुनाथ की। गति कूर कबिता सरित की ज्यों सरित पावन पाथ की॥ प्रभुसुजस संगति भनिति भलिहोइहि सुजन मन भावनी। भव अंग भूति मसान की सुमिरत सुहावनि पावनी॥
Transliteration (IAST)
maṃgala karani kalimalaharani tulasī kathā raghunātha kī। gati kūra kabitā sarita kī jyoṃ sarita pāvana pātha kī॥ prabhusujasa saṃgati bhaniti bhalihoihi sujana mana bhāvanī। bhava aṃga bhūti masāna kī sumirata suhāvani pāvanī॥
Meaning
Tulsi says that the story of Lord Raghunath is auspicious and destroys the sins of Kali Yuga. The course of my poor poem is crooked, like the course of a river with holy water. By association with the Lord's glorious fame, this poem will become beautiful and pleasing to the minds of the virtuous. Even the ashes of a cremation ground become delightful and purifying when associated with Lord Shiva's body, and are pleasing to remember.
