कोहबरहिं आने कुअँर कुअँरि सुआसिनिन्ह सुख पाइ कै। अति प्रीति लौकिक रीति लागीं करन मंगल गाइ कै॥ लहकौरि गौरि सिखाव रामहि सीय सन सारद कहैं। रनिवासु हास बिलास रस बस जन्म को फलु सब लहैं॥ २ ॥

kohabarahiṃ āne kuaṃra kuaṃri suāsininha sukha pāi kai। ati prīti laukika rīti lāgīṃ karana maṃgala gāi kai॥ lahakauri gauri sikhāva rāmahi sīya sana sārada kahaiṃ। ranivāsu hāsa bilāsa rasa basa janma ko phalu saba lahaiṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The married women, rejoicing, brought the boys and girls into the bridal chamber and, with great affection, began performing the customary rites while singing auspicious songs. Goddess Gauri teaches Rama the exchange of morsels between bride and groom, and Sarasvati teaches Sita. The women of the inner quarters, absorbed in the delight of laughter and play, feel that they are all receiving the supreme fruit of life.
