गाथे महामनि मौर मंजुल अंग सब चित चोरहीं। पुर नारि सुर सुंदरीं बरहि बिलोकि सब तिन तोरहीं॥ मनि बसन भूषन वारि आरति करहिं मंगल गावहीं। सुर सुमन बरिसहिं सूत मागध बंदि सुजसु सुनावहीं॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

gāthe mahāmani maura maṃjula aṃga saba cita corahīṃ। pura nāri sura suṃdarīṃ barahi biloki saba tina torahīṃ॥ mani basana bhūṣana vāri ārati karahiṃ maṃgala gāvahīṃ। sura sumana barisahiṃ sūta māgadha baṃdi sujasu sunāvahīṃ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Priceless jewels are strung into the lovely crown, and every limb steals the heart. The women of the city and the celestial maidens, seeing the bridegroom, are all enchanted. Waving jewels, garments, and ornaments in offering, they sing auspicious songs, while the gods shower flowers and the Sutas, Magadhas, and bards proclaim His fame.
