कीन्हें प्राकृत जन गुन गाना। सिर धुनि गिरा लगत पछिताना॥ हृदय सिंधु मति सीप समाना। स्वाति सारदा कहहिं सुजाना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kīnheṃ prākṛta jana guna gānā। sira dhuni girā lagata pachitānā॥ hṛdaya saṃdhu mati sīpa samānā। svāti sāradā kahahiṃ sujānā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

By praising ordinary people, Saraswati begins to shake her head in remorse. The wise say that the heart is an ocean, the mind a shell, and Saraswati like the Swati star.
