केकि कंठ दुति स्यामल अंगा। तड़ित बिनिंदक बसन सुरंगा॥ ब्याह बिभूषन बिबिध बनाए। मंगल सब सब भाँति सुहाए॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

keki kaṃṭha duti syāmala aṃgā। taṛita binindaka basana suraṃgā॥ byāha bibhūṣana bibidha banāe। maṃgala saba saba bhāṃti suhāe॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Rama's body is dark and lustrous like a peacock's neck. His garments are bright and beautiful, as though mocking lightning itself. Various wedding ornaments have been fashioned, all auspicious and lovely in every way.
