कौसिक कहा छमिअ अपराधू। बाल दोष गुन गनहिं न साधू॥ खर कुठार मैं अकरुन कोही। आगें अपराधी गुरुद्रोही॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kausika kahā chamiā aparādhū। bāla doṣa guna ganahiṃ na sādhū॥ khara kuṭhāra maiṃ akaruna kohī। āgeṃ aparādhī gurudrohī॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Vishvamitra said: Please forgive the offense. The faults and merits of children are not weighed by the good. [Parashurama said:] I am a sharp-edged axe, merciless and angry, and here stands this offender, this enemy of the guru, before me—
