कपट बिप्र बर बेष बनाएँ। कौतुक देखहिं अति सचु पाएँ॥ पूजे जनक देव सम जानें। दिए सुआसन बिनु पहिचानें॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kapaṭa bipra bara beṣa bānāeṃ। kautuka dekhaṃhi ati sacu pāeṃ॥ pūje janaka deva sama jāneṃ। die suāsana binu pahicāneṃ॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
They had disguised themselves cleverly as splendid Brahmins and watched the revelry with great delight. King Janaka, taking them to be equal to the gods, worshipped them and, without recognizing them, gave them beautiful seats.
