कलित करिबरन्हि परीं अँबारीं। कहि न जाहिं जेहि भाँति सँवारीं॥ चले मत्त गज घंट बिराजी। मनहुँ सुभग सावन घन राजी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kalita karibaranhi parīṃ aṃbārīṃ। kahi na jāhiṃ jehi bhāṃti saṃvārīṃ॥ cale matta gaja ghaṃṭa birājī। manahuṃ subhaga sāvana ghana rājī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Splendid howdahs rested upon the great elephants. It cannot be said in what manner they had been adorned. The intoxicated elephants, decorated with bells, moved along as if a lovely cluster of monsoon clouds were advancing.
