कहि जय जय जय रघुकुलकेतू। भृगुपति गए बनहि तप हेतू॥ अपभयँ कुटिल महीप डेराने। जहँ तहँ कायर गवँहिं पराने॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kahi jaya jaya jaya raghukulketū। bhṛgupati gae banahi tapa hetū॥ apabhayaṃ kuṭila mahīpa ḍerāne। jahaṃ tahaṃ kāyara gavahiṃ parāne॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Saying, 'Victory, victory, victory to the banner of the Raghu line,' Parashurama went to the forest for penance. Seeing this, the wicked kings were seized by baseless fear; like cowards, they fled in every direction.
