कहत चले पहिरें पट नाना। हरषि हने गहगहे निसाना॥ समाचार सब लोगन्ह पाए। लागे घर घर होन बधाए॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kahat cale pahireṃ paṭa nānā। harashi hane gahagahē nisānā॥ samācāra saba loganha pāe। lāge ghara ghara hona badhāe॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Thus speaking, they set out wearing many kinds of fine garments. Overjoyed, the drummers struck the drums loudly. When all the people heard the news, congratulations and celebrations began in every house.
