जो गुन रहित सगुन सोइ कैसें। जलु हिम उपल बिलग नहिं जैसें॥ जासु नाम भ्रम तिमिर पतंगा। तेहि किमि कहिअ बिमोह प्रसंगा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jo guna rahita saguna soi kaisẽ। jalu hima upala bilaga nahiṃ jaisẽ॥ jāsu nāma bhrama timira pataṃgā। tehi kimi kahiē bimoha prasaṃgā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
How can He who is without qualities be the same as the personal God? It is like water and ice—they are not separate. How can one speak of delusion in regard to Him whose name is like the sun for the darkness of illusion?
Context
This is Chaupai 2, Under Doha 116 from Bal Kand, in the episode “Shiva-Parvati Dialogue on Rama”. The episode describes Parvati lovingly questioning Shiva about Rama's divine nature and the mystery of His incarnation.
