जिन्ह कै लहहिं न रिपु रन पीठी। नहिं पावहिं परतिय मनु डीठी॥ मंगन लहहिं न जिन्ह कै नाहीं। ते नरबर थोरे जग माहीं॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jinha kai lahahiṃ na ripu rana pīṭhī। nahiṃ pāvahiṃ paratiya manu ḍīṭhī॥ maṃgana lahahiṃ na jinha kai nāhīṃ। te narabara thore jaga māhīṃ॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Few are those noble men in the world whose backs enemies do not see in battle, whose minds and eyes are not drawn by other men's wives, and from whose homes beggars do not hear the word 'no.'
