जौं तुम्ह औतेहु मुनि की नाईं। पद रज सिर सिसु धरत गोसाईं॥ छमहु चूक अनजानत केरी। चहिअ बिप्र उर कृपा घनेरी॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jauṃ tumha autehu muni kī nāīṃ। pada raja sira sisu dharata gosāīṃ॥ chamahu cūka anajānata kerī। cahi'a bipra ura kṛpā ghanerī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

Had you come like a sage, O Lord, the child would have placed the dust of your feet on his head. Please forgive the fault made in ignorance. Brahmins should have great compassion in their hearts.
