जहँ जप जग्य जोग मुनि करहीं। अति मारीच सुबाहुहि डरहीं॥ देखत जग्य निसाचर धावहिं। करहिं उपद्रव मुनि दुख पावहिं॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jahaṃ japa jagya joga muni karahīṃ। ati mārīca subāhuhi ḍarahīṃ॥ dekhata jagya nisācara dhāvahiṃ। karahiṃ upadrava muni dukha pāvahiṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
There the sages performed japa, sacrifice, and yoga, but they were greatly troubled by Maricha and Subahu. As soon as the sacrifice began, the demons would rush in and cause disturbances, bringing pain to the sages.
