जदपि कबित रस एकउ नाहीं। राम प्रताप प्रगट एहि माहीं॥ सोइ भरोस मोरें मन आवा। केहिं न सुसंग बड़प्पनु पावा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jadapi kabita rasa ekau nāhīṃ। rāma pratāpa pragaṭa ehi māhīṃ॥ soi bharosa moreṃ mana āvā। kehiṃ na susaṃga baṛappaṇu pāvā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Although there is not even one poetic flavor in this composition of mine, yet the glory of Rama is manifest in it. This alone gives me confidence in my mind: by good company, who has not attained greatness?
