हृदयँ अनुग्रह इंदु प्रकासा। सूचत किरन मनोहर हासा॥ कबहुँ उछंग कबहुँ बर पलना। मातु दुलारइ कहि प्रिय ललना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

hṛdayaṃ anugraha indu prakāsā। sūcata kirana manohara hāsā॥ kabahuṃ uchaṃga kabahuṃ bara palanā। mātu dularai kahi priya lalanā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

In his heart shines the moon of grace. His enchanting smile reveals the rays of that moon of compassion. Sometimes, holding him in her lap and sometimes laying him in a fine cradle, the mother lovingly says, “My dear child!”
