गुनह लखन कर हम पर रोषू। कतहुँ सुधाइहु ते बड़ दोषू॥ टेढ़ जानि सब बंदइ काहू। बक्र चंद्रमहि ग्रसइ न राहू॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gunaha lakhana kara hama para roṣū। katahuṃ sudhāihu te baṛa doṣū॥ ṭeṛha jāni saba bandai kāhū। bakra candramahi grasai na rāhū॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
[Sri Ramchandra thought to himself:] The fault is Lakshmana's, yet the anger falls on me! Sometimes even straightness becomes a great fault. People bow to what is crooked; even Rahu does not swallow the crooked moon.
