Meaning

All the lovely women began speaking teasing rebukes in sweet voices and delivering witty remarks. The gods, delighted by the jesting, took a very long time over their meal. The joy that grew during the feast cannot be told even with millions of mouths. After their hands and mouths were rinsed and betel leaves were given, everyone went off to wherever they had been staying.
