गै श्रम सकल सुखी नृप भयऊ। निज आश्रम तापस लै गयऊ॥ आसन दीन्ह अस्त रबि जानी। पुनि तापस बोलेउ मृदु बानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gai śrama sakala sukhī nṛpa bhayau। nija āśrama tāpasa lai gayau॥ āsana dīnha asta rabi jānī। puni tāpasa boleu mṛdu bānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
All weariness was gone, and the king became happy. Then the ascetic took him to his hermitage, and, knowing that it was sunset, offered him a seat. Then the ascetic spoke gently.
