गै जननी सिसु पहिं भयभीता। देखा बाल तहाँ पुनि सूता॥ बहुरि आइ देखा सुत सोई। हृदयँ कंप मन धीर न होई॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
gai jananī sisu pahiṃ bhayabhītā। dekhā bāla tahāṃ puni sūtā॥ bahuri āi dekhā suta soī। hṛdayaṃ kaṃpa mana dhīra na hoī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
The mother went in fear to the child, thinking, 'He was asleep in the cradle—who has brought him here?' There she saw the boy lying asleep. Then, returning again, she saw the same son there. Her heart trembled and her mind could not remain steady.
