देव दनुज भूपति भट नाना। समबल अधिक होउ बलवाना॥ जौं रन हमहि पचारै कोऊ। लरहिं सुखेन कालु किन होऊ॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

deva danuja bhūpati bhaṭa nānā। samabala adhika hou balavānā॥ jaum̐ rana hamahiṃ pacārai koū। larahiṃ sukhena kālu kina hoū॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Let there be gods, demons, kings, or many warriors—whether they are equal to us in strength or stronger. If anyone challenges us in battle, we shall fight with ease, even if Death itself should come.
