दसरथ पुत्रजन्म सुनि काना। मानहुँ ब्रह्मानंद समाना॥ परम प्रेम मन पुलक सरीरा। चाहत उठन करत मति धीरा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dasaratha putrajanma suni kānā। mānahuṃ brahmānanda samānā॥ parama prema mana pulaka sarīrā। cāhata uṭhana karata mati dhīrā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Hearing with his own ears of the birth of a son, King Dasharatha was as if immersed in the bliss of Brahman. His heart overflowed with love, his body thrilled with goosebumps, and, steadying his mind and body, he wished to rise.
