चितवति चकित चहूँ दिसि सीता। कहँ गए नृपकिसोर मनु चिंता॥ जहँ बिलोक मृग सावक नैनी। जनु तहँ बरिस कमल सित श्रेनी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
citavati cakita cahūṃ disi sītā। kahaṃ gae nṛpakisora manu ciṃtā॥ jahaṃ biloka mṛga sābaka nainī। janu tahaṃ barisa kamala sita śreṇī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Sita looks around in surprise in all directions, her mind anxious: Where have the prince gone? Wherever the doe-eyed Sita looks, it is as though rows of white lotuses are showered there.
