चापत चरन लखनु उर लाएँ। सभय सप्रेम परम सचु पाएँ॥ पुनि पुनि प्रभु कह सोवहु ताता। पौढ़े धरि उर पद जलजाता॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

cāpata carana lakhanu ura lāeṃ। sabhaya saprema parama sacu pāeṃ॥ puni puni prabhu kaha sovahu tātā। pauṛhe dhari ura pada jalajātā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Lakshmana, embracing Rama's feet to his heart and experiencing supreme bliss with reverence and love, was massaging them. Lord Shri Ramchandra repeatedly said, 'O dear one, now go to sleep.' Then he lay down, holding those lotus feet in his heart.
