चली सुभग कबिता सरिता सो। राम बिमल जस जल भरिता सो॥ सरजू नाम सुमंगल मूला। लोक बेद मत मंजुल कूला॥ ६ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
calī subhaga kabitā saritā so। rāma bimala jasa jala bharitā so॥ sarajū nāma sumaṅgala mūlā। loka beda mata mañjula kūlā॥ 6 ॥
Meaning
From it flowed the lovely river of poetry, filled with the pure water of Rama's fame. Its name is Sarju, the root of all auspiciousness; the teachings of the world and of the Veda are its two lovely banks.
