अस मानस मानस चख चाही। भइ कबि बुद्धि बिमल अवगाही॥ भयउ हृदयँ आनंद उछाहू। उमगेउ प्रेम प्रमोद प्रबाहू॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
asa mānasa mānasa cakha cāhī। bhai kabi buddhi bimala avagāhī॥ bhayau hṛdayaṃ ānanda uchāhū। umageu prema pramoda pravāhū॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
By beholding such a Mānas-lake with the eyes of the heart and plunging into it, the poet's intellect became pure; joy and enthusiasm filled the heart, and a flood of love and delight surged forth.
