बिहसि लखनु बोले मृदु बानी। अहो मुनीसु महा भटमानी॥ पुनि पुनि मोहि देखाव कुठारू। चहत उड़ावन फूँकि पहारू॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bihasi lakhanu bole mṛdu bānī। aho munīsū mahā bhaṭamānī॥ puni puni mohi dekhāva kuṭhārū। cahata uḍāvana phūṃki pahārū॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Smiling, Lakshmana spoke gently: “O sage, you think yourself a great warrior. You keep showing me your axe again and again, as if you could blow away a mountain with a breath.”
