भवन बेदधुनि अति मृदु बानी। जनु खग मुखर समयँ जनु सानी॥ कौतुक देखि पतंग भुलाना। एक मास तेइँ जात न जाना॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bhavana bedadhuni ati mṛdu bānī। janu khaga mukhara samayaṃ janu sānī॥ kautuka dekhi pataṃga bhulānā। eka māsa teiṃ jāta na jānā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
In the royal palace, the Vedic chanting in a very soft voice sounds as if it were the chirping of birds blended with the passage of time. Seeing this marvel, even the sun forgot its course. He did not realize that one whole month had passed.
