बरबस राज सुतहि तब दीन्हा। नारि समेत गवन बन कीन्हा॥ तीरथ बर नैमिष बिख्याता। अति पुनीत साधक सिधि दाता॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

barabasa rāja sutahi taba dīnhā। nāri sameta gavana bana kīnha॥ tīratha bara naimiṣa bikhyātā। ati punīta sādhaka sidhi dātā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Then Manu forcibly entrusted the kingdom to his son and, together with his wife, departed to the forest. Among holy places, Naimisha is renowned as the best, supremely pure, and a giver of spiritual accomplishment to seekers.
