बार बार करि बिनय बड़ाई। रघुपति चले संग सब भाई॥ जनक गहे कौसिक पद जाई। चरन रेनु सिर नयनन्ह लाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bāra bāra kari binaya baṛāī। raghupati cale saṅga saba bhāī॥ janaka gahe kausika pada jāī। carana renu sira nayananha lāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
King Janaka, after repeatedly offering praise and respectful requests, sent Rama on his way with all the brothers. Janaka then went to Kaushika (Viśvāmitra), clasped his feet, and placed the dust of those feet upon his head and eyes.
