बार बार बिरिदावलि भाषी। फिरे सकल रामहि उर राखी॥ बहुरि बहुरि कोसलपति कहहीं। जनकु प्रेमबस फिरै न चहहीं॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bāra bāra biridāvali bhāṣī। phire sakala rāmahi ura rākhī॥ bahuri bahuri kosalapati kahahīṃ। janaku premabasa phirai na cahahīṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
They all praised the family fame again and again and departed, keeping Rama in their hearts. The lord of Kosala kept saying again and again to return, but Janak, overcome by love, did not wish to turn back.
