बंधु कहइ कटु संमत तोरें। तू छल बिनय करसि कर जोरें॥ करु परितोषु मोर संग्रामा। नाहिं त छाड़ कहाउब रामा॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bandhu kahai kaṭu saṃmata toreṃ। tū chala binaya karasi kara joreṃ॥ karu paritoṣu mora saṃgrāmā। nāhiṃ ta chāṛa kahāuba rāmā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

This brother of yours speaks harshly with your own approval, and you make humble entreaty with folded hands by deceit. Either satisfy me in battle, or else give up the name Rama.
