बनइ न बरनत नगर निकाई। जहाँ जाइ मन तहँइँ लोभाई॥ चारु बजारु बिचित्र अँबारी। मनिमय बिधि जनु स्वकर सँवारी॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

banaï na baranata nagara nikāī। jahām̐ jāi mana taham̐iṃ lobhāī॥ cāru bajāru bicitra am̐bārī। manimaya bidhi janu svakara sam̐vārī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

The beauty of the city cannot be described. Wherever the mind turns, it is captivated there. There are lovely bazaars and wondrous balconies, as though Brahma himself had fashioned them with his own hands.
