बैठे सोह कामरिपु कैसें। धरें सरीरु सांतरसु जैसें॥ पारबती भल अवसरु जानी। गईं संभु पहिं मातु भवानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
baiṭhe soha kāmaripu kaiseṃ। dhareṃ sarīru sāṃtarasu jaiseṃ॥ pārabatī bhala avasaru jānī। gaīṃ saṃbhu pahiṃ mātu bhavānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Shiva, the enemy of Kama, was seated there in such splendor, as though the very essence of peaceful serenity had taken bodily form and was sitting there. Seeing the right opportunity, Parvati, the divine mother and Shiva’s wife, went to him.
