बैठे बरासन रामु जानकि मुदित मन दसरथु भए। तनु पुलक पुनि पुनि देखि अपनें सुकृत सुरतरु फल नए॥ भरि भुवन रहा उछाहु राम बिबाहु भा सबहीं कहा। केहि भाँति बरनि सिरात रसना एक यहु मंगलु महा॥ १ ॥

baiṭhe barāsana rāmu jānaki mudita mana dasarathu bhae। tanu pulaka puni puni dekhi apaneṃ sukṛta surataru phala nae॥ bhari bhuvana rahā ucchāhu rāma bibāhu bhā sabahīṃ kahā। kehi bhām̐ti barani sirāta rasanā eka yahu maṃgalu mahā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Rama and Janaki sat on the royal seat; seeing them, Dasharatha was greatly delighted. Again and again his body thrilled as he saw the new fruit of his tree of merit, like a wish-fulfilling tree. Joy filled the whole world; everyone said, “Rama’s wedding has taken place.” How can one describe and bring to an end this great auspiciousness with only one tongue?
