अवधपुरी सोहइ एहि भाँती। प्रभुहि मिलन आई जनु राती॥ देखि भानु जनु मन सकुचानी। तदपि बनी संध्या अनुमानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
avadhapurī sohai ehi bhāṃtī। prabhuhi milana āī janu rātī॥ dekhi bhānu janu mana sakucānī। tadapi banī saṃdhyā anumānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Ayodhya is shining in such a way, as if night had come to meet the Lord and, seeing the sun, had become shy; yet in contemplation it seemed to have turned into dusk.
