तेहि पर राम सपथ करि आई। सुकृत सनेह अवधि रघुराई॥ बात दृढ़ाइ कुमति हँसि बोली। कुमत कुबिहग कुलह जनु खोली॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tehi para rāma sapaṭha kari āī। sukṛta saneha avadhi raghurāī॥ bāta dṛḍhāi kumati haṃsi bolī। kumata kubihaga kulaha janu kholī॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

On that, I went ahead and swore by Rama. Rama is the limit of my merit and affection. Having thus confirmed the matter, the foolish Kaikeyi laughed and spoke, as though she had opened the cage of wicked thought-birds.
