तात बात मैं सकल सँवारी। भै मंथरा सहाय बिचारी॥ कछुक काज बिधि बीच बिगारेउ। भूपति सुरपति पुर पगु धारेउ॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tāta bāta maiṃ sakala saṃvārī। bhai mantharā sahāya bicārī॥ kachuka kāja bidhi bīca baigaaraeu। bhūpati surapati pura pagu dhāreu॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
“Father, I had arranged everything. Poor Manthara helped me. But fate spoiled matters a little in between; the king has gone to the heavenly realm.”
