सुर गन सहित सभय सुरराजू। सोचहिं चाहत होन अकाजू॥ बनत उपाउ करत कछु नाहीं। राम सरन सब गे मन माहीं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sura gana sahita sabhaya surarājū। socahiṃ cāhata hona akājū॥ banata upāu karata kachu nāhīṃ। rāma sarana saba ge mana māhīṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Indra, lord of the gods, together with the host of gods, became fearful and thought that the matter, already nearly settled, was about to fail. No remedy seemed possible. Then they all took refuge in Sri Rama in their hearts.
