सुनु नृप जासु बिमुख पछिताहीं। जासु भजन बिनु जरनि न जाहीं॥ भयउ तुम्हार तनय सोइ स्वामी। रामु पुनीत प्रेम अनुगामी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sunu nṛpa jāsu bimukha pachitāhīṃ। jāsu bhajana bina jarani na jāhīṃ॥ bhayau tumhāra tanaya soi svāmī। rāmu punīta prema anugāmī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Vashishtha said, “Listen, O king: those from whom one turns away and later repents, and without whose worship the inner burning does not go away—that very Lord, Sri Rama, has become your son. He follows pure love; indeed, it is by the power of love that he is your son.”
Context
This is Chaupai 4, Under Doha 4 from Ayodhya Kand, in the episode “Coronation Preparations, Gods Pray to Saraswati”. The episode describes Ayodhya's coronation preparations and the anxious gods pleading Saraswati to bring about Rama's exile.
