सुनिअ सुधा देखिअहिं गरल सब करतूति कराल। जहँ तहँ काक उलूक बक मानस सकृत मराल॥ २८१ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
suni'a sudhā dekiahiṃ garala saba kartūti karāla। jahaṃ tahaṃ kāka ulūka baka mānasa sakṛta marāla॥ 281 ॥
Meaning
Nectar is only heard of, while poison is seen everywhere. All of Fate's deeds are dreadful. Everywhere one sees crows, owls, and herons; the swan is found only in the Manasa lake.
