सीय लखन जेहि बिधि सुखु लहहीं। सोइ रघुनाथ करहिं सोइ कहहीं॥ कहहिं पुरातन कथा कहानी। सुनहिं लखनु सिय अति सुखु मानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sīya lakhana jehi bidhi sukhu lahahīṃ। soi raghunātha karahiṃ soi kahahīṃ॥ kahahiṃ purātana kathā kahānī। sunahiṃ lakhanu siya ati sukhu mānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Whatever brings happiness to Sita and Lakshmana, Raghunath does and says exactly that. He tells ancient stories and tales, and Lakshmana and Sita listen with great joy.
