सौंपि सचिव गुर भरतहि राजू। तेरहुति चले साजि सबु साजू॥ नगर नारि नर गुर सिख मानी। बसे सुखेन राम रजधानी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
saumpi saciva guru bharatahi rājū। terahuti cale sāji sabu sājū॥ nagara nāri nara guru sikha mānī। base sukhena rāma rajadhānī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Handing over the kingdom to the ministers, the guru, and Bharata, they set out for Tirhut with all necessary arrangements made. The women and men of the city, following the guru’s instruction, came to dwell happily in Rama’s capital, Ayodhya.
